  • (Formerly Flournoy Drilling, Grey Wolf Inc.).
  • Responsible for management and maintenance of on-site drilling wells. Responsibilities included management of all project costs and accuracy in cost data and reports. Worked closely with team engineers, vendors, and third party contractors in the design and implementation of all aspects of a project.
  • Assisted in project budget estimate and development and overseeing initial AFE preparation.
  • Responsible for developing job plans, material requisitions and work orders for services and tracks costs for projects.
  • Responsible for coordination and inspection of all material and equipment dispatched to and from drilling site. Ensured appropriate well control measures are taken during all phases of drilling and completion operations and that well control equipment is maintained in accordance Health and Safety regulations.
  • Reviewed completed projects to ensure they met planned time and cost goals.
  • Provided supervision, leadership and mentoring to crews in collaboration with other supervisors. Including attending daily calls with the well site to review daily/weekly reports, issues.
  • Participate in interviews, hiring of staff and providing new employee orientation and support on well-site.
  • Review drilling contracts and make applicable suggestions, review rig inventory to insure that all equipment and services listed are provided.
  • Review and approve invoices, Purchase Orders, for completeness, correctness, proper coding and approval.
  • Ensure Rig Managers complete and submit all necessary documents including but not limited to supply and maintenance requests, JSA, STOP cards, and HR forms.
  • Responsible for the overall accountability and management of all facets of operations of sites, coordinating the tasks and activities of crews, job location sites, rig moves, safety, audits, and presenting final project reports and completions to major companies.
  • Specify and supervise well modification and stimulation programs to maximize oil and gas recovery.
  • Direct and monitor the completion and evaluation of wells, well testing, or well surveys.
  • Assist engineering and other personnel to solve operating problems.
  • Develop plans for oil and gas field drilling, and for product recovery and treatment.
  • Maintain records of drilling and production operations.
  • Write technical reports for engineering and management personnel.
  • Assign work to staff to obtain maximum utilization of personnel.
  • Interpret drilling and testing information for personnel.
  • Supervise the removal of drilling equipment, the removal of any waste, and the safe return of land to structural stability when wells or pockets are exhausted.
  • Inspect oil and gas wells to determine that installations are completed.
  • Test machinery and equipment to ensure that it is safe and conforms to performance specifications.
